TikTok Thumbnail Downloader: Save a Cover Image
Find out how to save a cover image when it is included in the available TikTok video results.
Look for the cover image option
Paste the TikTok video link into the Video tool. If the result includes a cover image, choose that image option rather than MP4 or MP3. Your browser saves it as an image file. Not every post returns a cover, so an absent image button does not mean you should use a video button instead.
Understand the image quality
A thumbnail is a still image associated with the post. It is not a full video or a guarantee of high resolution. Check the displayed dimensions and open the downloaded image to judge whether it suits your needs. The tool cannot restore detail missing from the source. A cover image download also does not give you permission to reuse the creator’s work.
